2 months old!

I can't believe our little guy is two months old! Wow, time just flies by. I'm taking him to weighed tomorrow. I'm guessing he is close to 12 pounds! He was just over 11 last week and he just keeps getting heavier. Here are some pictures I took yesterday.

Things have improved greatly when it comes to Zach sleeping. My mom was a big help in figuring out what was going on. Sometimes when you are too close to the action, it's easy to miss the obvious! Hopefully things will continue to improve...until he starts really teething. HA HA! He has been smiling and laughing more and more. He just warms our hearts when he does that. Brian can really make him laugh. He doesn't really do the same for me yet...I think he just wants me for the milk. :) Just Kidding.

Update and HELP!!

I took Zach to be weighed yesterday. He is 10 pounds, 10 3/4 ounces! WOW! Some days it seems like he is always hungry. Plus, his sleeping patterns are kind of weird right now. For instance today/tonight, he will not go to sleep. If he goes to sleep after being fed, he wakes up after 20 minutes. He had a two hour nap today from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. That's it! Plus, he woke up every hour last night. I took him for a drive tonight hoping that would help, but he woke up when we got home. Does anyone have any suggestions? He isn't crying a lot, but he will be if he does not get any sleep soon. (me too!) This has happened before. I had a good pattern going for a week and a half and then the heat wave hit and things changed.

I wanted to post a picture but for some reason the computer isn't picking up my digital camera. I'll try tomorrow.

6 Weeks Old Today!

Zach is 6 weeks old today. He woke up for the first time with a smile!! He continued to smile quite a few times throughout the morning. It was wonderful! It warms my heart greatly especially after he was so incredibly fussy for the last few days. I thought my sweet little boy had left. HA HA! He is starting to have more saliva in his mouth so we are watching to see if he is starting to teeth early. He slept through a loud thunderstorm last night. I certainly didn't. They still scare me, I hate intense lightning. He is getting to be so big and is really wanting to move! On the weekend Brian held Zach's arms and our big boy started to put one foot in front of the other and walk across the living room. We taped it on our digital camera but am not sure if it will run as a video clip on blogger. I'll have to test it.

I will have more pictures to post soon. I'm waiting for some pictures from my dad. He has some wonderful shots. Stay tuned.
