Christmas & Tummy Pics!

MERRY CHRISTMAS!!

MERRY CHRISTMAS EVERYONE! Hope you all have a wonderful day with family and friends!! Our friend Vanessa gave us this Christmas moose as a wedding present. Brian decided to put one of the santa hats on him. My mom liked the moose so much she ended up getting one too last year.

Hi everyone! I'm a little slow at keeping up with news and pictures. I've been working a lot. Brian came home on Monday which has been nice. He is getting ready for school at NAIT in January. I bought his books for him while he was away so he has been looking through everything. It will be weird to have him in school while I'm working, but it is an exciting time for him.

I am feeling all right. Sleeping and eating have continued to be a challenge. I'm 16 week now. I heard the baby's heart beat for the first time last Monday. The baby moved around so much it took the intern doctor awhile to time it. He joked that the baby was doing laps. HA HA! Well, he or she is coming from an athletic family. The beats were 152, which many of you know is very healthy. People are starting to see that I'm showing more now. I'll have to take a picture this weekend. We have our next ultrasound on January 12th. Brian should be able to make it to that one....I HOPE! I am waiting to feel "the flutter". I'm feeling lots of muscle stretching.

Hi everyone. Well, I'm 14 weeks along today and not feeling very big. Sometimes I don't feel like I'm pregnant. I have not been nauseous since last Wednesday!! YAHOO! But, I do have a horrible cold right now which is causing me a lot of grief. Say a prayer....I have a big final exam tonight at NAIT. I took the day off which will help me prepare and relax a bit beforehand. Hubby is away working which makes me quite emotional at times even though I've been through it before.

I can't think of anything else, but I'm sure there is something. Have a great day everyone. For those in the Edmonton area...enjoy the plus 4 and 5 degrees!!!

Bundling Up!

Well, we finally had warmer weather today. I even was warm....and you all know how cold I am normally!

I'm going to embarrass myself a little here. These are two pictures Brian took last week when it was incredibly cold outside. He made me wear this hat, which is very warm, but kind of looks funny because the side flaps stick out. He thought it was very funny.

Early Christmas

My sister Carolyn came home this week for a reunion and we celebrated American Thanksgiving/early Christmas. There is a chance she may not be able to come home in December. We made lots of Christmas cookies. I was struggling with the icing on the ginger bread. Carolyn and my husband also got into a sweater sleeve slapping match!

Update

Well, I'm 12 weeks along today. I forgot to mention that I had my first ultrasound on the 17th. It went well. I got a great picture, I'm going to see if it will scan in properly. The due date we predicted was right on. And there is only one baby in there!! I got to see the heartbeat when the doctor zoomed in, that was cool!

I'm looking forward to see the changes that will happen in the next few weeks. Most of my regular pants are too small in the waist to wear now. I'm still struggling with nausea, so I'm hoping that will go away soon!

I'm going to exercise before it's time to get ready for work. We're in for a real cold weekend here....and more of the white stuff. Have a great rest of the week everybody!

Can't Sleep

Well, it's 3:55 am. and I've been wide awake since 2:30 a.m. I don't know why this has to happen the night before I have to work. But, I've read this is normal. I know what everyone is probably thinking...."Just Wait!" I may be requiring a nap when I get home from work.

I'm going to go do some homework for awhile. Yipee!! Have a good day everyone.

New Pics!

Okay, here is the first baby tummy shot. I'm 11 weeks tomorrow. Plus, I had to have Brian take a picture of the t-shirt and slippers he bought me. I'll be wearing the shirt lots when the baby starts kicking since it says "What's Kicking". I love the slippers. They are so comfortable and warm! Plus, I'm love anything to do with Christmas!! The pictures may be a little fuzzy.

Okay, I think I may be able to do my first tummy picture soon. I'm not huge, but I can definitely see and feel the difference!! So, stay tuned........

More Snow....

Hi everyone! Not much to report at this point. The snow keeps coming. I think we're locked in until March or April now. My pants are getting tighter in the stomach area. I actually ate a full meal Saturday night too! That was strange. It's funny how your appetite and food cravings change when you are pregnant. I don't crave anything weird yet. I'm sure my husband wishes I'd crave peas, beans, and icky things like that. Not likely!!

I don't have any new pictures to put online yet. Hopefully I will take some soon. My twin is coming home in two weeks or so for a reunion so it will be nice to see her. She hopefully will be home for a few days at Christmas as well.

Okay, I'm going to go crank the heat up before my husband gets home. Being pregnant certainly has not made me warm yet. I'm so looking forward to that part. I'm serious....for those of you who know me well, you know I'm always cold!! Have a great week!

My Brother's Wedding

My baby brother, Mike, got married on October 14th in Fargo, North Dakota. Many of you will know him. He married a girl he met at NABC. Here are a few pictures. It was a great wedding. Kindra and Mike looked incredible! It was great to see people I have not seen in a long time. That weekend I started feeling the effects of being pregnant. I'm sure a few people wondered what was up with me!! HA HA! These are pictures my dad took. For those of you who do not know, the guy standing behind me is my older brother, Jim.

Hi everyone! My doctor's appointment yesterday went well. I will 9 weeks tomorrow. The doctor wants to do a ultrasound in 2 weeks. I think I'm going to have to retire my jeans soon...really soon! I could NOT sit at work today with them buttoned!! I've put my belt away for I certainly won't be needing that anymore! HA HA!

I'm trying to eat well, (it's hard when your feeling green and there is yummy candy around!), exercise, and get lots of sleep.

I called my grandmother in St. Louis, Missouri tonight and told her. She is really excited. This is the first grandchild.

It's Snowing!!

Hi everyone! Not much going on. Work, homework, nausea, etc! It certainly feels like Christmas outside today! The snow keeps coming down.

This picture is from October 6th. I took one test in the morning and one test at night. Brian was very extremely excited, I was in shock!! I was wondering why I was craving so much junk food. I'm due on June 7, 2o07 according to a certain baby website. I see the doctor for the first time next week. Morning sickness can be nasty I must say!!
