The Cold Weather!

We are in a big deep freeze right now. Here are some pictures from yesterday morning. We were socked in real good with ice fog. It has been in the -30's with windchills into the -40's. Needless to say, I haven't gone out anywhere!!

MY NEW DISHWASHER!

I FINALLY HAVE A DISHWASHER! It is a portable one for our kitchen does not have a spot to install one unless we take out a bunch of cupboard space which would not be practicle. Brian surprised me with it last Friday! Thanks to Dad for using their van to bring it home!! I'm looking forward to having some extra time thanks to this wonderful machine!!

Time continues to fly by very quickly. I weighed Zach on Friday, January 25th. He came in at 16 pounds, 11 1/4 ounces. I don't think he gains a lot these days because the only time he stops moving is when he sleeps! He crawls very quickly now and is trying to pull himself up on the coffee table. He has had turkey and peaches for the first time this week. He seems to really like all foods that he tries. Amazingly last night for first time ever he slept 7 straight hours!! It was really strange! Then he slept another 4 after that. The last 3 nights have been wonderful with Zach sleeper in longer and longer stretches. Here are some new pictures including his two first pair of shoes.

Motoring Around/New Pics

Well, our little Zach is crawling around like crazy. He gets faster and better at it eat day. He seems happier now that he can move around on his own...less frustrated. He had broccoli for the first time today (poor kid). He seemed to like it. The next new food we are trying is turkey.

These pictures include a visit with the babies and mom's that I met last fall in the "New Mom's Group." We got together last Friday, it was great to see everyone. Zach was scared at first for he woke up in a strange place and with people he didn't recognize. But, after awhile he played happily. He did make one girl cry when he lunged forward and bumped heads with her...well, they were playing head to head and he's the only one crawling. She settled down quickly. I think she was scared more than anything. Brian also helped Zach stand with us butt up in the air. He started doing that on his own today! He will soon be going from a crawling position to sitting straight up. He loves to stand as well! I'll have more pictures coming soon!

Quick Update

I've been trying for a few days now to upload a video from January 6th of Zach scooting across the living room. He officially started crawling on that date. He is just a movin' now! He is talking a lot too. We are waiting to see which tooth will come next. I hope to have new pictures up soon as well.

Quick Update

Just a quick update for now. Zach weighed in at 16 pounds, 3 3/4 ounces on Thursday, January 3rd. He is slowly gaining weight. He popped his second tooth on Saturday, January 5th and started saying "da da" on Friday, January 4th! Today he said Dad and daddy.

Christmas 2007 Part 3/Meeting Uncle and Auntie

Here are some more pictures of our extended Christmas celebrations. Uncle Mike and Auntie Kindra arrived on the 27th and we had our officially Christmas dinner on the 28th. The first picture in the second row is of Mike trying to get Zach to kick Auntie Carolyn in the face! It's been wonderful watching them play and interact with Zach. I have lots more pictures to come.
