Trying on Snow Suit

Well on August 25th we decided to try on his next snow suit that Nana and Gramp at bought him awhile back. It's a size two and as you can see won't fit for awhile. Zach was a great sport and seemed amused by it all. We'll be getting an inexpensive inbetween suit until he grows into this one.

Bubble Lawnmower

This is from August 23rd. Zach LOVES bubbles so we thought we would get one of those bubble mowers. He loved it of course! My dad has better pictures/video so I need to get some copies!

Mop Video

I took these pictures this morning. He was being so cute. He was playing with one of old Transformer posters that my dad found in the basement!

First Time at Spray Park

Today we took Zach to the Fort Spray Park. It was a lot of fun! He was very interested in everything!! He was hesistant to go underneath any of the fountains/sprayers. (well they do have quite a bit of pressure for a little guy like him) He did get drenched really good though when standing underneath the palm tree sprayer that had shut off for a few minutes. Oh, he was surprised when it came back on. The water was a big chilly and there was a wind! But, it was 31 degrees today so it was kind of nice...especially for Brian! We also put Zach in the swing, but he wanted out!

I think next year he will be spending a lot of time there!! It was great watching him get excited and point at everything. So inquisitive. He enjoyed his time with Da Da very much this weekend. Brian heads back up north tomorrow night. Still no teeth, but boy are his gums puffy and tender! Hopefully soon!

Oh, if anyone is wondering about Zach's swimming outfit. It is big on him, but it is a swim suit with fabric that is SPF 50!! Plus, I think it helped him from getting too cold from the cool water!

Hello. Brian is home from Fort Mac for the weekend. I decided to break Zach off his schedule and take him to the airport with me last night. It worked out pretty good actually. He did fuss in the car the whole way home, but he wasn't too much off of his schedule today. He had a great time looking at the planes! Brian flies into the Executive Centre at the International Airport. It is completely different than the main terminal. It is a very small plane and it pulls up right in front of the building doors so Zach got a great view! He got the royal treatment from the staff. They gave him a hat and took him into the back to see one of the planes up close. He is really happy to have Daddy home!

He has been a bit of a handful this week with not wanting to eat, not wanting to be changed, and starting to have more little tantrums. (oh, goody!) But, he is sleeping well at night still, which I am very thankful for! He is still very funny, healthy, energetic, and smart! It is amazing what he comes up with each day!

Here are some pictures from late this afternoon. The first one is of him goofing off on the couch behind Dad. You can just tell he is up to no good! Then, not long after that, he started getting really tired. He doesn't want afternoon naps anymore so by early evening, he is spent! I'm going to go crash now myself!

14 Months Old!!

Zach turned 14 months old on August 6th! We are still dealing with the rash/redness on his face as you can see in the pictures. We aren't sure if it is just from teething, heat or food! It does clear up now and then and then comes back so who knows. I weighed him today. He is 19 pounds, 9 1/4 ounces. He doesn't seem to want to crack the 20 pound mark! Well, that's what happens when you don't stop movin'!! He is definitely more of a toddler now than a baby. He sure lets me know if he doesn't like something!!

Using The Muscles

This video was taken on the weekend. I wish I had had the camera out a few minutes earlier for he actually pulled himself up and hung there for a good 10 to 20 seconds. You'll have to be quick to watch at the start for he does it at the very beginning.

Last weekend our good friends Dan and Roxy were in town from B.C. They were kind enough to stop by to visit and play with Zach!! Too bad Brian was away working and could not see them. And of course, there are more pictures of Zach and Kaylyn playing.

We may be seeing some new teeth soon. All the signs are there. He continues to be very energetic, inquisitive, funny...and loud at times! His sleeping has been great the past 2 weeks so I'm hoping will continue!
