Ribit Ribit

This video was also taken yesterday (same day as welding toy pics). He likes to be a frog!

Our Little Welder

Nana and Gramp got Zach a little toddler welding kit. Now he looks just like Daddy! He had a lot of fun...I think they both did! He tried "welding" the box back together!

More Capital Ex

Capital Ex 2009

On Monday, July 20th we all went to Edmonton's Capital Ex. It was a fun day. Zach had only one meltdown, the rest was regular whining, wimpering. He did pretty good considering he was up for 13 straight hours! We did not ride any rides...Zach is still a few inches too short. I think it would be best when he is older...hopefully there won't be as many tantrums when he has to leave something he likes. He really enjoyed the big sandbox they had their in the toddler area. He did not like leaving that area!

Here are some photos. They had a construction tent where he could build and tear down brick and rock walls; plant flowers; and build with very large lego pieces! He got a plastic hard hat too!

WHY!

Also on July 18, he started saying the word "why". I taped the attached video this morning. He had not forgotten about it...and continued to use it throughout the day. Of course he does not know the meaning. As well today he said "mine" a lot!

July 18, 2009 Storm

Video from the bad July 18, 2009 thunderstorm. The winds were the worst I've seen them since probably 1987. Not sure who clear this is, but it may give you an indication of the start of the first storm. There was so much water running into the streets. As soon as you opened the front door, the door felt like it was going to be blown off and a wave of water hit you!

Big Storms!

Last night we had the first really big and bad storm of the summer. It was pretty horrible at times. Very intense lightning, extremely heavy downpours, hail, and winds up to and over 100 km/hr. The first storm hit just after 8:00 p.m, the second at around 10:30 p.m. Brought back some memories of 1987 boy! Here are pictures of the clouds moving in from the first storm! Playing Catch with Daddy

Video from July 11/09. He throws very well with the little Edmonton Eskimo footballs as well.

Park Fun!

On Saturday, July 11st we went to a park in St. Albert to a bbq for our friend's Mike and Angie. Their wedding was July 12th, Brian was a groomsman. Zach had a great time at the park, running around everywhere and playing football. He even ran over to play catch with the big boys for awhile! It was a great afternoon. At 5:00 p.m. Zach and I went home for he was getting to be a handful and was tired out.

Being cheeky and entertaining as always!

New Bike

Keep scrolling down...I'm posting lots of stuff!

Walmart finally cleared out this bike we saw several months ago that Zach liked. He sure likes climbing on and off of it and buckling himself in. Later on we can remove the back/overhead feature.

Canada Day

For Canada Day we took Zach to the pancake breakfast and the parade. It was a cool morning, but he still had a great time! He didn't seem to like the loud horns on the semi trucks and fire engines. He would put his finger in his ears. Here are some pictures from the parade.

Here are some pics from the past month including Zach's little friend, Kaylyn's, birthday party at Harbor Pool and an afternoon at the Spray Park. He didn't really go into the actual spray park much. He did pretty much like last year, just observe, make noises, and go on the slides at the kiddie park.

I CAN GET OUT!

Hello everyone! It has been awhile since I have posted anything. Can't believe how time is flying. Zach is 24 pounds now, 33 inches tall. He sure feels heavier than 24 pounds! He was doing really well with his speech and now it has seemed to go backwards again. He has 16 teeth...as of a few weeks ago. It is hard to take a look in the back to see if those 4 molars have popped up. He is starting to improve when it comes to eating. He will eat Tuna Helper! We add peas in it and he downs it! He did eat 4 bites of scrambled eggs last week too, but wouldn't do it yesterday. We'll keep trying.

Here is a video from June 10th. He can get into and out of the play pen. He is way better at getting out than in. When he tries to climb in he can easily hurt his head/neck with the way he is directing himself. I prefer he doesn't climb in or out for this is a time out area. Oh well....we can still use his crib. He can't get out of there yet!! And I hope he won't for awhile!

Hope to post more pics tomorrow.
