Update!

Hope everyone had a wonderful Easter! This past week was quick exciting. Zach FINALLY popped another tooth....left on on the top. The tooth beside that one should be coming anytime. As well, while at Nana and Grampa's yesterday, Zach decided to go up their stairs by himself. Instead of using both his knees, he lifts his left foot up, pushes up and follows with the right knee until he is standing. He made it half way up the stairs. As soon as we got the video camera though, he stopped of course! We just have to teach him how to go down the stairs properly. He likes to go head first! He continues to talk a lot and has the craziest faces! He is so funny!

HERE ARE SOME PICTURES THAT MY DAD TOOK IN RECENT WEEKS SHOWING THE MANY FACES OF ZACH!! The picture with the toy phone was from Easter Sunday. It was a gift from Nana and Grandpa!

Future Center!

Zach now weighs 17 pounds, 9 1/4 ounces. I think he is about 27 inches long. He is only in the 10th percentile for size, but his mental and physical abilities are extremely high...the doctor said 97%. He was quite amazed at what Zach can do. For the last few days he has started sticking his butt up in the air after being in the crawling position. I wasn't sure why he was doing this until my mom told me that he is trying to stand. He is doing this when he isn't around any furniture of course. Normally he pulls himself up on that! Today was the first time I saw him peeking at me when he was doing this.....so I quickly grabbed the camera!. Brian said he may be a center down the road! He had such a good sleep last night! I hope it continues.

Update

Happy St. Patrick's Day! Right after I posted the last entry with the video of "so big/touchdown", Zach started putting his hands up in the air just for touch down! We don't say so big anymore. A lot of the time, he does it himself. Plus, he is trying to say the word touchdown still. It's so cute!

Plus, today he started clapping his hands. Normally he just flings his arms back and forth, around in every direction. Today he clapped perfectly! He's getting so big! He goes to the pedetrician tomorrow...should be interesting. No new teeth still, but I saw the bottom of one of his top ones through the gum. Not long!

TOUCHDOWN!

This are pictures and footage from yesterday. Normally when we put our hands straight up in the air, we say "So Big" or "Zach is so oooo big!". When recently started saying "touch down". He copies us very quickly now and even does it when we aren't looking. I think he was trying to say touch down yesterday too...seriously! So, Auntie Carolyn, Uncle Jim and Mike...you should be proud of the touch down action!

Zach's newest thing last week was sticking his tongue out...a lot! I also got to take out the running stroller that my hair dresser gave me and finally use it! It's great. The last two pictures show a bib that Auntie Carolyn's boyfriend, Ken, gave him for Christmas! Still no new teeth!

9 Months Old!

On Thursday, March 6th, Zach turned 9 months old. I can't believe it. He is saying "momma" more which just thrills me of course! He continues to say "da da" a lot as well.

I weighed him yesterday and he is finally out of the 16 pound range! He is 17 pounds, 7 ounces!

Here are some more pictures. The first 7 pictures are from February 21st when I hosted a get together with some of the mom's I met at New Mom's Group in 2007. We also had a make-up madness party! The next few is of Zach playing with Daddy...and Daddy's foot! Then, Brian decided to put him in the recycle bin. I was surprised when I came around the corner. I asked him if this was the his new penalty box!! HA HA! The last two are of Zach checking out Daddy's big exercise ball!

Zach turned 9 month's old yesterday! I'll have more pictures. I'm hoping to weigh him today as well.

Hello! I'm little slow lately at getting new pics on the site. There has been lots going on at home. Zach is as active as ever and everyday seems to find new things to climb or get into! Still no new teeth, even though he sure is showing the signs.

The pictures of him in the playpen are from Feb 17 when he finally pulled himself completely up in it. He pulled himself on to the t.v. cabinet too. Then there are pictures of Zach's spiked hair, compliments of Brian! Then on Feb 21st, he took an interest in the railings and pulled himself up!
